The Story
This project will always be one of my favorites because it was my pregnancy project while I was expecting my first daughter. It was the first amigurumi I made that really felt polished, and I learned so much along the way. I spent countless hours counting stitches, redoing rows, and watching tutorials whenever I came across something new. Looking back, I can see how much this project helped shape me as a crocheter.
After my daughter was born, Sleepy Eeyore became part of some of my favorite memories. I took milestone photos of her with him as she grew, and those pictures will always be some of my favorites.
CHNKY Note
I made one small change that I still love. The original bow felt a little too small when made with blanket yarn, so I found a different bow pattern that fit the proportions much better. Between the oversized bow, the little button, and Eeyore’s sweet sleepy expression, this project came together perfectly.
