I ran downstairs jumping up and down when I saw I was chosen to test this pattern! I tested Vexley the Voidscale for @mo2designs, and it was such a fun experience. My vision for this project was to create an iridescent look by blending different shades of blanket yarn. Somewhere along the way, Vexley started reminding me of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, and now I can’t unsee it!
CHNKY Note
The custom eyes are my favorite detail. I created them by cutting tiny pieces of paper and placing them behind the safety eyes to give them a unique, iridescent effect. I’m also really enjoying @mo2designs’ Keepers of The Quiet World series, so getting to help bring one of the guardians to life made this project even more special.
