Felix the Phoenix

An adorable phoenix rattle made for little hands, with a wooden ring that makes it perfect for babies. The featured versions come in classic red and orange or cool blue and purple, but custom colors are always available to commission.

The Story

I made both of the featured color versions, and I absolutely loved watching the colors come together on these. They took longer to make than I expected because of all the sewing, but I was really happy with how clean my stitches turned out. Cosmos Crochet also quickly became another one of my favorite crocheters, and I loved getting to make one of her designs.

CHNKY Note

This was my first time making rattles and working with wooden rings. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I really loved how they came together and how the finished rattles felt in my hands.
