Koazy is a koala with ears that take up half his head, which is the correct ratio. I tested this pattern for @mycrochetcorneruk before it went out.
The ears are brushed to raise the fibre — you work them flat, then take a pet slicker brush to them until the yarn fluffs and the stitch definition disappears entirely. It’s a slow, oddly satisfying step, and it’s the difference between a grey circle and something that looks like fur.
He’s soft, he’s squishable, and he’s the piece most likely to end up in a crib. Everything is embroidered rather than glued for that reason — no safety eyes on this one if it’s going to a baby, just ask.
